A NEW TERM IN THE FASHION INDUSTRY, ‘BRIDGE LINE’ REFERS TO A COUTURE THAT BRIDGES THE GAP BETWEEN HIGH-END DESIGNER LABELS AND THE MORE AFFORDABLE AND EDGY MASS-MARKET BRANDS. BRIDGE LINE OFTEN FEATURE UNIQUE STYLING THAT IS RISKIER DESIGN–WISE COMPARED TO CONTEMPORARY LUXURY LABELS

    Central PHuket Floresta Mall

    By: Wanvisa Songsat

For the first time in Phuket, global bridge line fashion brands are gathering on the 2nd floor of Central Phuket Floresta shopping mall! This expansion elevates the couture shopping experience at Central Phuket, and follows the success of the Luxury Zone on the 1st  floor of the Floresta mall, which is now fully occupied with luxury designer labels.

This is great news for the consumer who craves for a different, personalised look…at affordable prices. In this article I am highlighting 4 brands, who are showcasing their bridge line fashion on the 2nd floor of Central Phuket Floresta, all of whom are debuting for the first time in Phuket.

    ALO – Alo Yoga

Alo, is a premium fashion and lifestyle brand renowned for luxury activewear rooted in mind-body wellness; this is their second store in Thailand.

Spanning over 480 sqm, the new store features the brand’s full range of fashion-forward apparel for women, men, and unisex styles. From loungewear and coordinated sets to elevated leisure looks perfect for long weekends, Alo Yoga seamlessly blends fashion, function, and fitness.

The opening in Phuket marks the US brand’s continued expansion in Asia. It further strengthens Alo’s global mission to spread mindful movement, inspire wellness, and build community. The store’s design concept fuses natural and modern aesthetics, incorporating oak wood finishes and real greenery throughout the space, creating a holistic environment for those who value the intersection of style, comfort, and well-being.

    BRAND STORY

Alo Yoga (Alo) is a Los Angeles-based premium lifestyle brand specialising in luxury activewear. Launched in 2007, ‘ALO’ is an acronym for Air, Land, and Ocean. Alo has a studio-to-street mentality that transcends fashion and goes beyond the fitness mat. Alo is available online at www.aloyoga.com and in Alo Sanctuaries worldwide.

    COS

COS opened the doors to its first store in Phuket this year. The new store is designed in-house with the expertise of interior and sustainability specialists, to create a space that is a testament to thoughtful craftsmanship; showcasing a carefully curated palette of colours, surface textures, and materials.

Spanning 340 sqm, the store embraces a neutral aesthetic. Locally sourced clay walls create an organic, grounding backdrop, while wardrobes and vitrines are crafted from fast-growing bamboo.

The store’s interior strikes a harmonious balance between vintage and contemporary furnishings. The plush curves of Giancarlo Piretti’s Alky armchairs contrast with the contemporary cylinder side table by Six The Residence. Meanwhile, NOR11’s hand-upholstered daybeds and seating introduce softness, set against dark wood and modern furnishings in the fitting rooms. Helle Mardahl’s candy-coloured Bon Bon wall and table lamps provide warm, ambient lighting, lending a playful yet sophisticated touch.
